Agenda
1. MAIN AGENDA: Invitational get-together to inform about the federation and to network; resolve our thrust-educator or education? finalize mission statement.
2. Others:
a) FPAE – What is it?
From April 3 Meeting:
·Original Goal:
o FPAE is a collaborative group; member organizations keep their unique identity; support and help member organizations to flourish by making FPAE resources available to them
o What do we want to do? FPAE can be a clearinghouse of information, a go-to place for information that we may be able to provide re education, Filipino educators, etc. Each member organization’s web site will be linked to the FPAE blog or site.
b) Revisit issues to be addressed and projects to pursue:
· issues in education affecting not only Phil-American educators but the whole community of educators
· pursue research in various areas of expertise or subject matter to further the knowledge and expertise of educational colleagues
· Establish partnership with other education-related organizations in pursuing joint ventures and projects
· Create a clearing house of research materials from various resources and members.
c) The development of the Task and Mission has been overdue
d) Stay with FPAE name or Change?
e) Filling up of vacat positions (List of officers to be posted in the FPAE blog)

I felt honored to be chosen despite my absence. I hope that I won't disappoint anyone. By the way, the name PAFE sounds more inviting and the goals are definitely more realistic. Happy Mother's Day!
